Gold Fern Original Painting

Metallic Champagne colored leafing was used to create this delicate fern painting. The background is subtly variegated with green hues. 

This is hand painted with acrylic paint and gilded with gold leaf. The technique of gilding was used; a delicate and tedious process with many steps that gives the most vibrant metallic results. 

Edges are stained wood.

Finished with a satin varnish.

Comes ready to hang with attached hanging wire.
