Silver Jellyfish Original Painting

Metallic Silver and electric blue leaf come together to create this jellyfish floating in the depths of a deep blue background. 

This is hand painted with acrylic paint and gilded with silver leaf. The technique of gilding was used; a delicate and tedious process with many steps that gives the most vibrant metallic results. 

Edges are stained wood.

Finished with a satin varnish.
